The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development has confirmed that the new law will allow the attraction of private capital for the country’s infrastructure restoration. It provides for a simplified procedure for preparing and implementing projects in the format of partnerships between the state and private companies.
Special attention has been paid to transparency and equal conditions in the competitions for determining private partners. According to estimates by the International Finance Corporation, up to 55% of the total reconstruction needs of Ukraine can be attracted through public-private partnership mechanisms without putting pressure on the state budget.

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba noted that the new law will facilitate the involvement of businesses in infrastructure restoration not only at the level of state facilities but also in communities.
