Ukrainian woman Olena Fursova, who was evacuated from her village in Kursk region to Russia, spoke about how her village was captured by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and about the executions of civilians. However, representatives of the military command showed Fursova's interview to other residents who confirmed that her statements were false.
Earlier, the Russian army occupied the district center of the Kursk region - the city of Sudzha.
Fighting continues in the Kursk region, where Russian troops have advanced to the borders of Zaoleshenka and have likely captured Honcharivka.
