Job Opportunities for All Foreigners: The Spanish Government Has Approved the Migration Reform.

The Spanish government has approved a reform of migration policy aimed at meeting labor market needs. According to the new rules, about 300,000 undocumented migrants will receive residence and work permits each year, accelerating their legalization and providing additional labor rights.
The Minister of Social Security and Migration, Elma Saiz, noted that this decision opens the door to education, employment, and family for migrants and leads to their inclusion in society while respecting legal requirements and human rights.
According to Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, the birth rate in Spain is one of the lowest in the EU, making migration the only realistic way to achieve economic growth and provide services to the aging population. Over the last 10 years, 94% of migrants arrived in the country legally, of which 40% are from Latin America, 30% from other parts of Europe, and 20% from Africa.
Legalizing up to 300,000 migrants each year is part of new measures by the Spanish authorities to fill the labor shortages caused by an aging population. These measures include simplifying the procedures for obtaining residence and work permits for immigrants, which will give foreign workers guaranteed labor rights.
