Relations between Poles and Ukrainians are tense: survey data.

Deterioration of relations between Ukraine and Poland - study
According to United Surveys for Wirtualna Polska, 43.6% of Poles believe that relations between Ukraine and Poland have «rather deteriorated». Additionally, 17.7% of respondents claim they have «clearly deteriorated».
At the same Time, only 7.8% of those surveyed answered that relations have «rather improved», and only 0.1% claim they have «definitely improved». Additionally, 21.9% of respondents believe that bilateral relations have remained unchanged.
Tensions in Poland-Ukraine relations
Poland previously provided Ukraine with political, economic, and military support, making it a key ally on the international stage. However, in 2023-2024, relations between these countries have been marked by significant tension. This came as a surprise to many, as Poland was one of the first countries to support Ukraine during Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022.
Migration rules in Poland and the staffing crisis
The tightening of migration rules in Poland is leading to a staffing crisis in key industries, including transport and logistics. According to a report by Gremi Personal, Ukrainians are increasingly choosing other countries for employment due to stricter migration rules and reduced support for Ukrainian migrants in Poland. This may result in a significant shortage of labor in fields such as transport, shipping and logistics (TSL), the food industry, and e-commerce.
